Sleeping while eating!!!

So this past week Mackenzie has been having issues taking naps. She just doesnt want to take them or it takes her forever to fall asleep. Well i finally gave in once this past week and let her get outta her bed and at 5:30 when she was eating dinner this is what happened...

Wow chocolate cereal and she still was tired! :)

I just thought this was so cute... my parents say that they have many pictures of me asleep in my food! :0) I was just cooking dinner and she passed out! 

First bike ride...

We bought a bike trailer over a year ago and we have been waiting so long to take Mackenzie for a ride in it and finally decided she was big enough to go for a ride in it. I was a little scared for her to be in it but she loved it! Daddy and her went for a great ride and I got some pictures of it but its a little hard to do that when they are moving! lol....

This was the outcome of the bike ride... Exhaustion! LOL!

Mirrors and Markers...

MIRRORS:

Her latest thing to do is show me her nose all the time... which means scrunch up her face and blow out like a bull... You'd have to see it in person to understand but it is just so cute. But also another thing is to look at herself in the mirror and kiss it and just talk to herself. She is getting very vocal and I am so happy. She is really smart...

So the other morning I walked out of my office/extra bedroom for about I would say all of 3 minutes and I came back to a destroyed room and Mackenzies legs the color of a smurf. :) I couldnt stop laughing it was just to funny...

After the fact she got another pen and tried again...

Very proud of what she accomplished. lol

Looking down knowing she might get into trouble... she didnt though I just thought it was hilarious how quick it happened!

P.S.: SORRY ABOUT ALL THE CLOTHES EVERYWHERE.... MACKENZIE LOVES TO TIP OVER THE LAUNDRY BINS AND TAKE THE DIRTY CLOTHES ALL AROUND THE HOUSE!

Changes, Crafts and Reading...

So I decided to change Mackenzie's blog page. I really didn't like the baby sites blog so here I am starting all over with a new one!

So this past week I finally was able to sit down and do a craft with Mackenzie for the first time in I dont know how long. But it was just a simple finger paint and all that matters is that she had a blast and was covered in blue and hot pink paint afterward's.

Another thing that happened this past week was sorta cute. Lately Mackenzie has been grabbing people that she wants to do something with and pretty much pulling them down to her level to play. Well she did that to me the other day and it was so cute because she wanted me to read to her. Gary was fortunate enough to get some photos of this...

This one is cute too... she loves the book we are reading... its all about different types of babies.
